'Business must be run at a profit else it will die. But when anyone tries to run a business solely for profit - then also the business must die, for it no longer has a reason for existence.'
Henry Ford
This is exactly how we feel at Sweet Little Things. It's just so easy to help those worse off than us. We are certainly not 'big business', but we have a heart and feel passionate about giving, so try to help out where we can. This is why we regularly make donations to the following charities.
SIDS and Kids raises money to fund research in to sudden and unexpected stillbirth, neonatal death and SIDS and is committed to reducing perinatal and infant mortality in Australia.
This year we have sponsored the 'Splash of Red Ball'

As Australia's peak national non-government cancer control organisation, The Cancer Council Australia advises the Australian Government and other bodies on practices and policies to help prevent, detect and treat cancer. They also advocate for the rights of cancer patients for best treatment and supportive care.

This year I have hosted a 'Girls Night In' dinner and raised quite a bit of money. Of course they can always do with more, so if you are feeling generous, please click here to make a donation. Thank you :)
Dear Cathy,
Thank you for hosting a Girls Night In for The Cancer Council NSW. We hope you and your guests enjoyed your event while raising money to help us in the fight against women's cancers.
Your contribution will enable us to continue funding vital research into the causes of cancer and into new and improved treatments. In the past five years
Thank you once again for your generous support and we hope you will join us again next year in what we promise to be an even bigger and better Girls Night In.
With kind regards
Jodie Wainwright

The RSPCA's mission is to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. Their vision is to be the leading authority in animal care and protection.
We took part in 2008's cupcake day. Here's our certificate of participation:

I am a lifetime member and have supported the RSPCA through charity donations and by purchasing their products for many years. Just have a look at my dog, Bundy and you can see why this organisation is so important to me.

We supported Redkite this year through the Hunter's Hill Quilters. We donated during their yearly show and they raised more than they ever have. Each year they choose a different charity to support.
Our letter of thanks:

Whether it is a little or a lot, we do what we can to support these organisations year after year. In the very near future we hope to donate a specific amount from the sale of each item on this site. Remember - you too can help these organisations by visiting their websites (click on their images above) and looking at all the amazing resources they have put together so that each and every one of us can give in any way we can.
